Cruise through the Corinthian Canal
This cruise is a unique opportunity to get to know the impressive Canal, which dates back to the time of Nero but was finally built in 1893. The famous Corinth Canal, with a length of over 6 km and a width of only 21 m, separates the Peloponnese from the rest of mainland Greece, at the same time connecting the Corinthian Sea with the Saronic Gulf. Although its construction was completed at the end of the 19th century, it was an idea that was born thousands of years ago. Crossing the Isthmus is an unforgettable experience that cannot be missed!!!
Ateny
Visiting Athens is a unique journey through time and space, during which you can discover both ancient treasures and the modern face of the Greek capital. The tour begins with a visit to the Acropolis, where the majestic Parthenon towers over the city, reminding you of the power of ancient Greece. Walking up the hill, you can also see the Erechthyon with its characteristic Caryatids and the Temple of Athena Nike. The view from the top is breathtaking – all of Athens stretches before your eyes, all the way to the Aegean Sea. A walk around the Plaka district is another point of the program – the narrow, atmospheric streets are full of local shops, cafes and taverns. Here you can try traditional Greek dishes such as moussaka or souvlaki, as well as buy souvenirs. Finally, we visit Syntagma Square, where the changing of the guard in front of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier takes place, and the Panatenai Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were held.
Mykeny & Nafpio
Visiting Mycenae is an opportunity to combine history with mythology. We will learn about the tragic fate of Agamemnon, we will learn about his return from the Trojan War and the betrayal committed by his wife Clitymester. It is a story full of emotions that allows you to understand how much myths and reality intertwined in ancient Greece. Visiting Mycenae is a journey back in time to the era of heroes known from Greek mythology and Homer's "Iliad". We start with the impressive Lion's Gate, a symbol of the power of the Mycenaean civilization. This monumental gate, built of huge stones, leads to the ruins of the ancient city, which around 1600–1100 BC was one of the most important centers in Greece. Complementing such a rich day will be a visit to Nafplio, one of the most beautiful and romantic cities in Greece, located on the Gulf of Argolid. It was the first capital of modern Greece and combines Venetian, Ottoman and Greek influences. The city is famous for its picturesque old town, full of narrow streets, neoclassical tenement houses and flowered terraces. Nafplio is dominated by the impressive Palamidi Fortress, which offers a spectacular view of the city and the bay. We will see the Bourtzi Fortress, located on a small island that looks like a fairy-tale castle on the water.
